What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?:
Maintaining a 3.5 and coming midyear...that was tough {Good job Sarah! We're proud of you!}
Biggest Challenges?:
Coming midyear (January) and trying to develop my own routines
after everyone else has gotten the chance to do so already
Why are you interested in Event Planning?:
I love using my creative side and helping others trying to
plan the perfect day for them.
What area in the event industry interests you the most?:
WEDDINGS
What makes Ashley Troyer Events stand out to you?:
I felt that the team had a laid back, fun feel to the work atmosphere. I loved the ideas that they put together.
During your internship, what do you hope to accomplish?:
I want to accomplish a true understanding of what I will do if I were an actual planner... I also want to understand the whole planning process
In 5 years where do you see yourself in your life?:
Married, established in event planning/management
In 5 years where do you see yourself in your career?:
established and working under someone else in the event planning field
Okay dish it! Do you have a significant other? (Tell us about him!):
His name is Alan Leichty. He is at Hesston with me and is pursuing a bachelors degree in biology, then going to study pre-med. I met him in high school (NorthWood) and we've been dating 1 year and 9 months. He graduated from NorthWood, took a semester of college off, then went to Ethiopia for 3 months.
We are so happy to have Sarah on board! She's been doing an AMAZING job with getting info together and giving great feedback! She's come up with some EXCELLANT blogging ideas and we're excited for her to get some of the research done so she can share her brilliance with you! Again, welcome aboard Sarah! :)
